Dacia brand launches Black Line Available on the Logan, Logan MCV and Sandero though not, apparently, on the Logan Pick Up or the upcoming new Duster crossover the Black Line adds a touch of class to the budget cars. The package, based on the Laureate trim level, adds such special touches as metallic paint, visible top stitching on the black fabric upholstery, MP3 capable CD player and a leather trimmed steering wheel. Dacia Duster Photographed Inside The new economy SUV model from Dacia, the Dacia Duster, has been photographed during what appears to be some kind of dealer presentation in its home market in Romania. The jury of the European Car of the Year has published the list of nominees to the Car of the Year 2009 award. As you can see, the new Dacia model Sandero, launched recently at the European level, has been nominated for the prestigious competition COTY 2009.
The most famous prize in the world auto manufacturers for Europeans is European Car of the Year. The prestigious jury is composed of 59 members from 23 countries, including Belgique, България, Česko, Danmark, Deutschland, England /UK, Ελλάς, España, France, Hrvatska, Italia, Luxembourg, Magyarország, Moldova, Nederland, Norge, Österreich, Polska, Romania, Россия, Schweiz, Slovenija, Slovensko, Srbija, Sverige, Suomi, Türkiye, Україна.
The grand prize of the year 2009 will be announced and handed on November 17 at the Auto Motor Show in Paris. Jury members of 59 members from 23 countries are elected according to the important automotive markets in European countries.

The Sandero builds on the success of the Logan, Logan MCV, Logan Van and Logan Pick-up. Dacia has now broadened the range thanks to the generously-dimensioned, five-door Sandero Stepway SUV.

Dacia Logan Pick-up - A practical, robust vehicle

Dacia Logan Pick-up is the latest addition to the Logan family, which already boasts a saloon, an estate, and a light commercial van. Manufactured at the Mioveni/Romania, Dacia Pick-up is the ideal working vehicle for craftsmen and tradespeople, while also meeting the needs of the ordinary motorist. Naturally, Pick-up bears all the hallmarks of a true Dacia. With its Renault-originated petrol, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel to the same chassis as Logan MCV, Logan Pick-up is a vehicle that is both contemporary and robust. Logan Pick-up also stands out for its sheer practicality another fundamental Logan family trait. On the LCV market, Dacia Logan Pickup is available in three versions: the King Cab (two doors and five seats), Double Cab (four doors and five seats) and Drop Side, with high ground clearance and a dumper with movable panels. It boasts a load bed with a payload of 800kg, a load length of 1.80m, and 300 litres of cabin stowage space behind the seats. It will be marketed starting in Romania and Bulgaria.

Renault plans South Africa production

Renault South Africa appears close to securing the contract to assemble the budget Logan locally. According to news reports, strong demand for the entry-level car has prompted Renault to consider increasing Logan production in other emerging markets. Renault executives confirmed at the Durban Motor Show that there was a strong possibility that the Logan could be assembled in South Africa. The range has recently been extended to include a Logan Van (aimed at small business users) and the Logan MCV (meaning "multi convivial vehicle or station wagon). Based on the Logan's success, Renault is already hoping to raise its output to 900 000 vehicles between 2006 and 2009.

The new model is available in five equipment versions: -“Sandero”, “Ambiance”, “Preference”, “Laureate” and “Prestige”. Sandero is the first vehicle to display the brand’s new logo. Renault confirms Nissan-badged Logan model for Mexico

Renault confirmed it would build a version of its Logan low-cost car at its Curitiba, Brazil, and plant for sale in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico under the Nissan brand.

In 1999 Renault bought 92,72 % of the former romanian public company Dacia S.A.. Since 9.9.2004 the Logan is built in Mioveni/Romania. It ´s also manufactured in Iran, China, Russia, Morocco and Colombia.
