  Dacia is launching the LPG saloon Logan, available in 1.4 MPI and 1.6 MPI versions. The CO2 emissions of vehicles using LPG fuel are 19% lower than those using petrol.   The LPG specific installation is supplied and assembled in the industrial process by the Italian company Landi Renzo – one of the world leading manufacturers of alternative LPG and natural gas propulsion systems.

Dacia has renewed its 9001 certification, as a confirmation of the fact that the Quality Management System that has been adopted complies with the demands of the international ISO 9001 standard, the 2000 version.

  Given its alternative petrol/ LPG functions, the Dacia LPG enjoys a considerable 1 500 km plus autonomy. The LPG is a completely safe fuel to use. The specific installation is compliant with the most severe European regulations. The LPG tank is made of an extremely resistant material, equipped with safety kits and tested at 550°C, according to standards in force.

So for a personal vehicle, it makes sense to go for LPG, while for commercial vehicles, CNG vehicles deliver better economies. Generally ( CNG Compressed Natural Gas ), is cheaper per mile than gasoline, and I believe LPG is as well. If you are deciding between the two, the big question is which is more available in your area. If you travel a lot, LPG ( Liquified Petroleum Gas, Propan, Butan ) may be a batter option because it is more commercially available (for filling up on the road), but it will be a bit more expensive.
